When you think of skincare brands, who comes to mind? Ponds? Kiehl's? Rhode? There are so many nowadays that it can be hard to keep track, especially if you're looking to enter the space. However, there are some emerging brands out there that are gaining a lot of traction. We're talking about the top growing skincare brands searched in the US: Lumiara and Beauty of Joseon.
Now, Lumiara is a great example of a brand whose PR team is working overtime. They have an average of 1.3K monthly searches alongside skincare, indicating relatively low search volume, and they are experiencing a YoY growth of +663.0%. Interestingly, no one is searching for anything specific; they are simply searching for the brand name Lumiara, highlighting the power of good branding.
On the other hand, Beauty of Joseon is a very high volume brand with 34.3K average monthly searches alongside skincare products, and they have seen a YoY growth of +295.1%. The top search queries reveal that consumers are specifically interested in Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, Beauty of Joseon products, and Beauty of Joseon glow serum. Additionally, the brand is experiencing a correlated lift on TikTok, with a MoM increase in brand hashtag views of +22.9%. This suggests that visibility on TikTok is important to consumers (shocker!) and has a direct impact on search interest.
